Birmingham City University
Birmingham City University (BCU) is a state university situated in Birmingham, England. Its beginnings trace back to 1843 with the founding of the Birmingham College of Art. Throughout the years, it transformed into Birmingham Polytechnic in 1971 and achieved university status in 1992. BCU is among the largest universities in Birmingham, hosting over 31,000 students from over 100 nations. BIRMINGHAM CITY COLLEGE
The university consists of four primary faculties:
Faculty of Arts, Design and Media: This faculty comprises the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Birmingham Institute of Creative Arts, Birmingham Institute of Jewellery, Fashion and Textiles, Birmingham Institute of Media and English, along with Birmingham School of Architecture and Design.
Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences: Includes the Birmingham City Business School, School of Law, and School of Social Sciences.
Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences: Encompassing the School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Health Sciences, School of Defence Healthcare Education, and School of Social Work and Education.
Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment: Comprises the School of Computing and Digital Technology as well as the School of Engineering and the Built Environment.
